When you think 'New Orleans Piano' you think Joe Krown. Or, at least, you should.
HBO does. Joe was featured in an episode of the HBO drama Treme. Joe plays himself in a scene in episode 4, season 1 (2010). One of his songs is used in episode 2, season 1, for background music.

He has toured throughout the states and into Europe. He played in a band that opened for Eric Clapton for a 62 date world tour.

Joe Krown has recorded with many New Orleans' greats. He has seven CD's out under his own name as well as a couple out with bands. As a member of Gatemouth Brown's band, Joe Krown is on Carlos Santana's Carlos Santana Presents Blues at Montreux 2004 dvd.
